I thought after I read all the reviews of women having difficulties getting this out of the tube that surely I could figure this out. When I received it I read the instructions first . It said to push down the circle thing in the middle and then turn the up end to the left. Well, left to me means left, counter clockwise. I turned and turned and turned over 100 times and I am not kidding, my finger hurt. I called my son in and asked him about it since he can usually figure out anything. He said "wow what a great design" but after trying it himself said some one goofed on this design and will surely be fired. Then I tried turning it right, clockwise and what do you know, it worked! I held the circle part down like it said while I turned. OK. this is the problem,,, The box instruction not the product design. So, looks like the printer instead of the designer of the case will be fired! Just kidding! The turn left instructions and picture, placement of the arrow and direction arrow is going is confusing.
So, hold the end you want to use up , hold the circle in the middle down and turn clockwise a few times and it should work. At least it does for me. Go slow turning at first until it gets to the top, other wise you will have a whole bunch come out and be wasted. Hope this helps. By the way, I do like the product. Waiting to see how long it will last me. I plan to order more. Am contacting Avon so they can change their instructions in case they haven't figured it out yet.
